Hotan is an associate at Axelrod, Fingerhut & Dennis. Hotan has extensive experience representing landlords throughout New York and New Jersey. He has represented landlords in the Civil Court and the Supreme Court as well as before Appellate courts in New York, and in the Special Civil Part and Civil Part of the Law Division in New Jersey.

Prior to joining Axelrod, Fingerhut & Dennis Hotan worked for fifteen years at one of New York’s largest landlord-tenant firms. He has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation including drafting pleadings, motion practice, discovery, trials and appeals. During the last fifteen years he has helped Landlords recoup millions of dollars from current and former tenants.

He has also counseled clients on various commercial and residential leasing issues, helping them to optimize their leases and guaranty agreements to better protect their rights as a landlord.

Hotan was born In Tehran Iran, but he now lives on Long Island with his wife and 3 boys. He enjoys bike riding, traveling with his family, and playing soccer with his kids.
